The Director General of Iraqi Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the development project will contribute to changing the features of transportation at the global level and will enhance the Iraqi economy with a permanent source for the national economy.
The Ministry of Transport stated, in a statement received by / Mawazine News /, that "the Director General of Iraqi Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, received today the Director General of Iraqi Railways, Younis Khaled Al-Kaabi, and discussed the details and plans related to the implementation of the Development Road Project."
Al-Fartousi said: "We spoke with the Director General of Railways, Younis Khaled Al-Kaabi, about how to accelerate the implementation of this strategic project that will contribute to changing the features of transportation at the global level and will enhance the Iraqi economy with a permanent source for the national economy."
Al-Fartousi stressed "the importance of accelerating the implementation of the final plans for the Development Road," referring to "the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi to implement this giant project in the best possible way."
