The Director General of Iraqi Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, discussed yesterday, Tuesday, with the Director General of Iraqi Railways, Younis Khaled Al-Kaabi, the plans related to implementing the development road.
A statement by the Ministry of Transport stated that "Al-Fartousi received the Director General of Iraqi Railways, Eng. Younis Khaled Al-Kaabi, and the two parties discussed the details and plans related to implementing the development road project."
The two sides reviewed "how to accelerate the implementation of this strategic project that will contribute to changing the features of transportation on a global level, and will strengthen the Iraqi economy with a permanent source for the national economy," and stressed "the importance of accelerating the implementation of the final plans for the development road."
