    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed his adherence to implement the legitimate demands of Anbar province.
    A statement by Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Maliki received a tribal delegation represents the tribes of Anbar as well as central and southern provinces Iraq.”
    “Maliki assured that Iraqis dignity is derived from the dignity of Iraqis so all Iraqis have the duty to defend their country,” the statement added.
    The statement quoted Maliki as saying “Anbar province and its tribes are pioneers in confronting terrorism to support the unity of Iraq.”
    According to the statement, Maliki “Stressed that he will do his best to implement the legitimate demands related to his authorities as he support these demands in the parliament and other institutes of the State.”
