    [ltr] Criminal Court issued in Karbala, on Saturday, sentenced in absentia to seven years in prison against the former Minister of Trade Abd al-Falah al-Sudani was convicted tea corrupt file, while expressing support for the decision to confiscate movable and immovable property. The judge said Abdul Sattar Bayrakdar, a spokesman for the judiciary in a statement seen by the (long-Presse), "The Criminal Court held its Karbala and looked at the suit fugitive Abdul Falah al-Sudani, which was formerly a minister of trade."  Bayrakdar He added that he "has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment in absentia for tea corrupt issue," pointing out that "the decision was made in accordance with Article 340 of the Penal Law No. 111 of 1969".  A spokesman for the Judicial Council stressed that "the court also upheld the seizure decision issued against movable and immovable property". Abdul Falah al-Sudani and trade minister when his ministry in 2009 imported about 30 thousand tons of vegetable cooking oil shoddy and stored in poor conditions, which led to the damage.
