    He called on Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, Sunday, to speed up the approval of important laws, most notably the General Amnesty Law, stressing the need to end all the points of contention about the law.

     

    A statement by the Office of the Chairman of the House of Representatives, "Nur News" received a copy of it, "al-Jubouri met, today, the President of the Legal Committee of Parliament Mahmoud al-Hassan, was discussed during the meeting some important laws and ways to speed up the approval, the most prominent of the amnesty law."

    Jubouri and stressed "the importance of the convergence of views between the political blocs, and an end to all the points of contention about the law to be presented to the Council for a vote," praising "the efforts of the Legal Committee of Parliament and its role in the follow-up laws and fleshed out as they serve the public interest."
