    It revealed to the Oil and Energy Committee in the House of Representatives, on Saturday, a plan to the Ministry of Electricity to produce 1000 MW using solar energy, while confirming that the implementation of the plan requires educating citizens the importance of the use of solar energy, electricity minister pledged to support the serious companies and to hold the failed ones to accomplish the power distribution projects and urged the companies need to implement information campaigns to educate citizens in the investment areas. 
    he said the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary member Zaher al - Abadi in an interview (long -Presse) that "there is a plan to the Ministry of Electricity to rely on solar energy in electricity production, especially since the Ministry of Science and Technology before merging with the Ministry of Higher Education was to have a comprehensive plan in this regard , "noting that" the use of solar energy to produce electricity will save a thousand megawatts. " 
    He added Abadi, that" the use of solar energy can be done through the use of citizen 's electrical devices that operate on solar energy, as well as the building The Ministry of Electricity and large units to generate electricity and then sell it to the citizen , "adding that" the project application needs to educate the citizens of the importance of solar energy use. " 
    for his part , vowed to Electricity Minister Qassim Mohammed Fahdawi, with the support of serious corporate and accounting failed them to accomplish the power distribution projects, demanding companies the need toimplement information campaigns to educate citizens in the investment areas.

    He called Fahdawi companies to" carry out information campaigns to educate citizens in referrals investment areas, and there are weekly meetings with senior management at the ministry in order to see the tables of the progress of work, and in return the ministry will provide full advise them to serve the success of theproject . " 
    the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity has called, in the (July 16, 2016), the investment companies to create a plant to generate solar PV capacity of 50 MW, Southeast Samawah, Muthanna province, and in the province ofMuthanna administration confirmed that the station will contribute to solving the power problem in thejudiciary, pointed out that the ministry has identified the 20th of July to take over for implementation offers.
