    Held in Baghdad today expanded economic conference for investment projects in Iraq, in partnership with the Supreme Commission for coordination between the national and provincial Investment Authority to discuss the activation of investment projects that have not finished the implementation in all provinces Aotrah investment opportunities for new projects in order to finance it.
    The conference was attended by a number of members of the House of Representatives, ministers, governors and heads of provincial councils and the heads of investment authorities in the provinces, as well as banks and investors, economists and businessmen from Iraqi and foreign representatives.
    The conference aims to activate the investment projects that have not finished the implementation in all of Iraq's provinces with the introduction of investment opportunities for new projects in order to finance it.
    Head of the Supreme Commission for coordination between the provinces Torhan Mufti stressed that "the work of the Conference will be distributed in four workshops, a group of special projects in the governorates and be an investor and businessman opportunity to attend the project, according to its direction in a free, open and direct dialogue with the concerned parties."
    For his part, Mahdi Keywords Secretary General of the Council of Ministers representing the Prime Minister expressed in his speech about the government's attention and orientation towards the revitalization and supporting the private sector through holding meetings out a package of recommendations endorsed by the Cabinet continuous efforts with the relevant banks to confirm to take a leading role in economic activity .
    He pointed out that the government's decision to pay dues Contractors least partially put special mechanisms for payment on credit, the Government confirmed the keenness of the fundamental starting the movement of investment, expressing his hope that the conference achieve positive results within the context of the work of the Executive competent authorities.
    For his part, Browse Sami Raouf al-Araji, head of the National Authority for Investment and the march of the Commission's work since the issuance of Investment Law No. (13) of 2006, as amended in the years (2009, 2013) and has added new features to investors, stressing that the authority granted since 2009 and up to 2016 (1336) vacation investment with a total value of up to (90.1) billion dollars spread over different sectors.
    He continued, "The Commission announced (940) investment opportunity by 2015 and nearly 992 chance announced during 2016, distributed to the provinces and economic sectors.
