    I used a quarter of a century that explored the expectations of the Iraqis and their wishes in every New Year, the two presidents: inform the Iraqi public opinion, and to inform decision - makers on the opinion of the people to promote what is positive in their performance and address the negative Ver.oukd we went in the last week of 2016 surveyed academics and intellectuals included these two questions: 
    • what is your assessment of the performance of the government , represented by Prime Minister Dr. Haider al - Abadi in 2016? 
    • What are the positive and negative expectations for 2017?
    First , assess the performance of Mr. Haider al - Abadi 
    divided respondents , all Calendar levels, from excellent to lousy, but most focus on two levels: the good and Mqubol.okan mostly positive answers and described to Mr. Abadi , that: ( a quiet, running things under advisement, its ability to contain the political crises internally and externally, more sedate than its predecessor al - Maliki in dealing with the crisis, his quiet non - jerky, unlike his predecessor, he was able to catch the stick from the middle with all parties, intentions better than other politicians, has the political experience and education of struggle and cultural enabled him to analyze and deduce and it merges with the community in an intelligent manner made him an element technocrat acceptable ..). everyone agreed that it was successful in the military performance and achieved victories in Anbar, Fallujah and Mosul.

    Second: the expectations of Iraqis in the new year

    The aim of the second question is to know the size of optimism and pessimism among Iraqis about what will happen in 2016..otozawa also on the two classes, as optimists saw that the new year will see: ( a change at the political level best by increasing public awareness in favor of civil powers, and it would protest the biggest, the collapse of quotas, and the year in which popular discontent will lead to the Iraqis to unite, and the year will witness the defeat of sectarian forces) .fima predicted pessimists that the new year will be :( worse than Sabgah..usikon year drought, and a state of despair at the social level, and increase the suffering of the people and cases of murder, deportation, and the year will see a conflict between the blocks because of the deteriorating economic situation). 
    The psychological reading of what happened and is happening we came to the following conclusion:
