Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Deputy Premier, Ruz Nouri Shawees, discussed the political and security situation in Iraq.
A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received Shawees who was accompanied by the former Chief of the Joint Command, Babekir Zebari, on last Monday.”
“They reviewed the political updates in the country,” the statement concluded.
