    Shafaq News / The security forces killed a suicide bomber on Thursday driving a car bomb as he tried to storm a security headquarters in western Mosul, a police source said.
     
    “The suicide bomber was driving a car bomb and tried to storm the headquarters of the Second Division leadership of the Federal Police in Mesherfa area west of Mosul, but the protection elements killed him and blow up the car before he get to his target,” the source told “Shafaq News”.

    “The explosion resulted in material damage in the headquarters building and its surrounding buildings without causing any damages,”adding that "security forces opened an investigation into the incident ,” the source said.

    Mosul city, the center of Nineveh province suffer from the spread of armed groups that carry out various operations such as murder, bombings and kidnappings.
