    Minister of Communications Hassan Kazem Al-Rashed opened on Monday the FTTH project for photovoltaic services in Baghdad, along with Rusafa in collaboration with IQ, a specialized company in the field of communications and information technology.
    Al-Rashed said in his speech at the official opening ceremony, according to a statement received by Mawazine News, a copy of it, that "the actions speak better than the words and what the ministry accomplished during this period at a time when the country is suffering from a severe financial crisis that is a challenge and steadfastness Where the ministry completed several projects, most notably the project photovoltaic in a number of provinces of Iraq.
    The statement added that "the ministry in cooperation with the IQ company has allocated 189 thousand lines, including 5000 lines ready to work in the Rusafa side," noting that "this project will constitute a quantum leap in the imports of the Ministry of Communications."
    Al-Rashed praised "the victories achieved by our security forces and the popular mobilization in their war against the forces of darkness and atonement," calling on everyone "to defeat these terrorist forces and gangs by providing the best services."
    On his part, the General Manager of the General Company for Communications and Post, Nazem Lefth Khashjouri, said during his speech on the occasion, "We are celebrating today the opening of high quality projects in order to upgrade the status of ICT and keep abreast of the developments in the region and the world."
