Minister of Transport discusses with the parliamentary economy the establishment of an "international airport" in Anbar

Minister of Transport Kazem Vajan al-Hammami discussed with the Parliamentary Economics Committee on Monday the establishment of an international airport in Anbar.
"Al-Hamami received a delegation from the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Investment, consisting of MPs Fares Al-Fares and Al-Hamdi Charter," a ministry statement said. "The meeting discussed the establishment of an international airport in Anbar province."
Al-Hammami said that "a water cascade similar to the waterway, which will be supervised by the Ministry of Transport in the Dokan Dam, will be built." He said that part of the base will be transferred to an international airport in Anbar province.
For his part, praised the delegation of the Committee on Economy and Investment, "the efforts of the Ministry of Transport in the ages and the establishment of new airports in various provinces of Iraq," adding that "these achievements a major step to improve the transport in the country."
It is worth mentioning that the Minister of Transport, earlier, laid the foundation stone for the airport of Al-Kut civil and also opened Nasiriyah International Airport, which would contribute to the economic and tourism revival.
