BAGHDAD, April 21 (Reuters) - Sadr's leader Moqtada al-Sadr on Friday expressed his thanks to his supporters for denouncing the threats.
"And to learn that whoever raised a banner for reform will be the triad against him," he said in a statement today, referring to the occupation, terrorism and corruption.
"And what threats have been announced only by him."
Sadr, who was among thousands of his supporters in the central Iraqi city of Tahrir Square, said his life was in danger and that there were those who threatened to kill him, angering his supporters. Finished
