America is concerned at the Turkish bombardment on the Iraqi border
The United States expressed deep concern over the air strikes launched by Turkey on the elements of the protection units of the Kurdish people in Iraq and Syria, and killed 18 people.
Said Mark Toner , spokesman for the US State Department 'We have expressed these concerns directly with the Turkish government. "
He added: 'did not approve the alliance (the US - led against what is known as the organization of the Islamic state) of these raids , which resulted in the loss of the lives of the unfortunate partner forces ( for us).'
The Turkish military said it had killed about 70 Kurdish fighters in these raids.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan , told Reuters that the 'military operations in northern Iraq and Syria will continue until the elimination of terrorists there.'
Erdogan said: 'We have shared this process with our American friends, and with our Russian friends, and likewise we share information with management in the northern part of Iraq (Iraqi Kurdistan). We are committed to continue this fight until the fall of another terrorist '.
