Nijaifi’s alliance urges Sadr to re-consider his latest decision over quitting political issues

[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Motahidoun Alliance headed by the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, urged the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, to re-consider his latest decision over quitting the political and social issues.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by Motahidoun Alliance received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Sadr’s announcement over quitting the political issues will has a negatively affect the performance of al-Ahrar bloc,” calling Sadr to “Re-consider his decision and helps in building the Iraqi State.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“Sustaining stability and security in Iraq cannot be achieved without all the efforts,” the statement added, noting that “Al-Ahrar bloc has a clear effect in the last few years in cooperation with the other blocs where we hope to continue the same cooperation.”[/ltr]
[ltr]Earlier, the Political Bureau of the Sadr Trend confirmed that the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, quitted interfering in the political and social issues.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by the Committee received by IraqiNews.com cited “The periodical meeting of the Bureau that was headed by the head of the Secretary General of Ahrar bloc, Dhiya al-Asadi, discussed Sadr’s decision in this regard.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The attendants of the meeting asked Sadr to reconsider his decision,” the statement added. /End[/ltr]
