Disbursement of the new social welfare benefit for beneficiaries named by the Ministry of Planning
BAGHDAD, June 11 (KUNA) - The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced today that it has started to pay social welfare benefits in accordance with the new peace approved by the Council of Ministers since the fifth aid package was launched in 2016.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Labor, Ammar Menem, said in a statement received by "Iraq Press", a copy of it, "The ministry began to spread the new peace for the benefit of beneficiaries who are below the poverty line according to the results received from the Ministry of Planning starting in October 2016, That "there are beneficiaries are still receiving aid in accordance with the old ladder, because some of them did not respond to their results from the Ministry of Planning for their delay in updating their statements, as well as some of the objectors who are pending decision of the judge."
He added that "beneficiaries who are below the poverty line are disbursed to them according to the new peace approved by the Council of Ministers, which starts from 100 thousand dinars per person up to 175 thousand dinars for the family of four members for men and 225 thousand for women and her family consisting of Four of them, "adding that" the ministry followed one of the appeals published in the newspaper Zaman to a number of citizens from Baghdad, noting that they receive aid in accordance with the old ladder, although some of them have a total disability . "
"The ministry is working on transferring the former beneficiaries to the new social protection law through their inclusion in social research and analysis of their data by the Ministry of Planning according to the level of poverty line adopted by the new law in targeting poor families."
