The Economic Committee of the Dhi Qar Council called on the municipal councils in the districts and districts to hold accountable the food agents who violate the instructions of the Ministry of Commerce by providing them with more prices than the citizens.
The head of the committee, Rashid Al-Sarai told "Al-Sabah" that many complaints received by the Committee by the citizens related to the fulfillment of some of the ration agents amounts more than the official amounts, as the amounts of the flour and other food items do not exceed the price of 500 dinars only, Most food agents take more than this amount, indicating that the procedures established by the Ministry of Commerce to account agents are insufficient.
He pointed to the agreement with the municipal councils to receive complaints from citizens in this regard and take appropriate action on them.
