    Release date: 2017/8/13

(Baghdad: al-Furat News) Interior Ministry spokesman Brigadier Saad Maan revealed an agreement between the Iraqi and Iranian sides during a visit by Interior Minister Qassem al-Araji to the Iranian capital Tehran.

Maan told the {Euphrates News} today that "Interior Minister Qassim Araji discussed with his Iranian counterpart to start preparing a draft memorandum of understanding to exchange experiences and coordination of information and psychological processes and other things that will rule out the existence of extremism and terrorism and eliminate it.
"It was also agreed to form joint committees between the two countries at the level of borders and drugs and at the level of extremism and intelligence effort in the exchange of information."
"The visit of the Interior Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran was very important, as it was agreed on a number of things, including ensuring the entry of visitors to Iraq during the visit," he said.
