On Thursday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee returned the current debt to Iraq as a burden to be borne by future generations. Iraq's budgets for previous years were described as prepared in a way that filled the gaps.
"The budgets of Iraq for previous years have not been approved on the basis of study and planning and the need of the country in the planning and drainage sections," said member of the Committee Rahim Darraji in an interview with the newspaper "Economy News".
He added that "budgets were prepared in a way fill gaps and fill vacancies, which caused serious effects and destruction of the Iraqi economy made the current government in critical after taking office."
He explained that "the debts incurred by Iraq has tied the country with harsh things will be borne by the next generations."
