(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) A member of the Political Bureau of the National Wisdom Movement Raad al-Haidari, that calls to postpone the elections are political and not popular
Al-Haidari told the {Euphrates News} today that "the elections are the right of the Iraqi citizen and the political blocs are not entitled to deprive citizens of their right to express their opinion," noting that "what is happening today of my calls to postpone the elections are political suits and not popular, the public is willing to have a decent life dignified Under the new programs and ambitions to push him to the atmosphere of safety. "
He added that "this call collides with the Constitution and trying to circumvent it and the democratic process," adding that "some parties call for an extension of the work of Parliament for six months."
Al-Haidari called for "respect for the constitutional timing of the election date and not to allow parties to run their interests under the pretext of postponement."
