    Arab and Saudi investors are preparing to form an investment alliance in the coming period that will take part in the reconstruction of Iraq, Syria and Libya, Arab media reported on Sunday.
    The initiative was jointly initiated by the Saudi-Egyptian Business Council, the Egyptian General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the Saudi Chamber of Commerce.
    "There is an Egyptian-Saudi agreement on the necessity of further strengthening the joint economic relations between the two countries, opening new horizons by exploiting the possibilities available to both countries and injecting new investments into the markets of Iraq, Libya and Syria."
    He added that "two exhibitions and two conferences will be organized in Syria and Libya during the months of April and May next, with the broad participation of businessmen and Egyptian and Arab companies."
    He pointed out that "Saudi Arabia ranks first among the Arab investments in Egypt with a total investment of 27 billion dollars in 2900 projects covering all productive and service sectors."
