Kurdish deputy: support the IMF conditional on the demands of Kurdistan!
Said the MP for the Mass Change Masoud Haidar If Baghdad does not comply with the request of the International Monetary Fund, the Fund will not recognize the Iraqi budget will destroy Iraq's financial reputation and may prevent the deal of companies and major banks with Baghdad.
Haidar said in a press statement that Iraq requested a loan of seven billion dollars for the year 2018 from the International Monetary Fund. The Iraqi government receives international loans annually.
The Iraqi public budget for 2018, which is estimated at $ 88 billion, has not yet been approved by the Iraqi Council of Representatives due to political differences. The Kurds rejected their share, which was reduced to 12.67% instead of 17%.

Ha we just saw the IMF condition yesterday and it stated give the kurds 14% funny how this report left that part out.

Baghdad News –

MP Zana Said, on Monday, the requirement of the IMF to support the government in donor conferences, in return for the allocation of 14% of the budget for the Kurdistan region.
Said said in a press statement that ‘the Finance Committee held earlier meeting with the International Monetary Fund’, indicating that ‘the latter stipulated that his support for the Iraqi government in the columns of the donors in exchange for the allocation of 10 trillion dinars of the budget, or 14% of the Kurdistan region ‘.
“The government is trying to shirk this condition,” he said, adding that “this will affect the position of the government during donor conferences, including the Kuwait conference.”
