Russia's central bank decided on Friday to cut its key interest rate to 7.5 percent, in line with analysts' expectations.
A statement issued by the Russian Central Bank said that the bank during its first board meeting this year has decided to continue to reduce the main interest rate.
In terms of trading, the exchange rate of the dollar against the Russian ruble by 14:38 Moscow time (11:38 GMT) by 33 kopecks (ruble = 100 kopec).
Meanwhile, the euro was down 32 kopec to 71.16 rubles, according to data from the Moscow Stock Exchange.
