Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi revealed that the new government will be representative of the people, and its prominent feature is not belonging to any elite.
He pledged that Iraq will witness a tremendous development if he becomes prime minister again, stressing that he will not work with the sectarian and corrupt their hands with corruption.
"The incoming ministers must be technocrats," Abadi said in an article in the Washington Post. "The new government must be characterized by a lack of affiliation with any elites, and be representative of the people rather than subject to the domination of a particular party or class."
He added: "Today I declare to my people that we will witness a dramatic transformation in Iraq over the next four years if the affairs of government are good." "I will put my country's economy in perspective, eliminate corruption and provide jobs for millions of young people who constitute the majority of the country's population."
"I will not agree at any stage to work with those whose hands have been stained with corruption or who have known the practice of sectarianism," Abadi said.
