The Iraqi Central Bank sold at a sale auction of foreign currency Tuesday, more than 173 million dollars.
"The total amount sold was 173 million, 399 thousand and 470 dollars, with the participation of 32 banks and one financial transfer company," the bank said in a statement.
Total sales for the purposes of strengthening the assets abroad / remittances and credits / 139 million and 489 thousand and 470 dollars, and the total cash sales amounted to 33 million and 910 thousand dollars.
The sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad and selling cash at 1190 dinars per dollar.
