The leader of a coalition of state law Nuri al-Maliki met with the leader of the National Coalition Iyad Allawi and discussed the latest political developments.
And the director of the press office of the owners, Hisham Rikabi on his Twitter page, that Maliki and Allawi are discussing the parliament session and the formation of the largest parliamentary bloc and the formation of the next government.
And the meeting in its current form is the first of its kind, between Allawi Almnawi the nucleus of the largest bloc formed in addition to Sadr and Abadi and Hakim, with Maliki, who leads the race to form the bloc, which is carrying out the tasks of forming the government in addition to Amiri and Khazali.
The new Iraqi parliament is scheduled to hold its first session on Monday under the chairmanship of the oldest member, Mohamed Ali Zinni, in order to elect a new speaker of parliament.
This puts the political blocs in front of the last chance to resolve the parliamentary majority, which requires the largest bloc to get it (half the number of members of parliament plus one), equivalent to 165 deputies out of the total of 329 deputies, as well as the two-thirds majority required by the election of the new Iraqi president.
