The Secretary General of the Badr Organization and the head of the Fatah coalition Hadi al-Amiri, on Monday, it is not the powers of the head of age to declare who will be the largest bloc, indicating that "the Federal Court will be Faisal" in determining who will be the largest bloc.
"It is not the prerogative of the speaker of the interim parliament, the elder, to decide on the issue of the largest bloc or to identify it," Amiri told reporters. "It will be left to the speaker of parliament who will be elected in the coming sessions."
"If the president of the elected parliament is unable to declare who is the largest bloc, we will go to the Federal Court to resolve the issue and officially announce who is the largest bloc and will form the next government."
Al-Ameri added that "what concerns us is the formation of a national bloc that undertakes to provide services to the country and the Iraqi people," stressing that "the theory of the conquest alliance involves inviting everyone to the national space and work within this framework."
He pointed out that "the brothers Kurds delayed in announcing their position, because of the lack of opportunity, because of the race that took place the formation of the largest bloc," noting that "this race does not serve the national interest."
