    Baghdad / Al-Ghad Press:

Iraqi women parliamentarians on Thursday called for the return of the Ministry of Women and the granting of women 25 percent of the government cab.

The assembly said in a statement, "Al-Ghad Press", a copy of it, "to his surprise at the level of women's representation in the government of Adel Abdul-Mahdi, although the Prime Minister talked about the delegation of political blocs to choose ministers."

"The female component is entitled to a quota of at least 25% of the ministries, so that women will be real partners in building the Iraq we aspire to," said Basma Basim, a member of the group. "The Ministry of Women should have a full portfolio of files and programs for widowed women, And the dependents of their families and survivors of intimidation and many other files. "

"The parliamentary women's assembly will be a supporter of the Iraqi government, the parliament and the people and we will be real partners in building the country," she said.
