    announced that the State of Kuwait , on Thursday, the rest of the invasion of the former regime , the President of the debts of Saddam Hussein have, stressing that Iraq paid in three installments during the current year. "This year, Kuwait received three installments of compensation of $ 90 million each," Kuwait's 

    Al-Watan newspaper quoted the chairman of the Public Authority for Compensation Assessment Khaled Al-Mudhaf as saying at a meeting of the United Nations Compensation Commission in Geneva .

    "The three payments were made in April, July and October, in accordance with the payment mechanism set out in decision 267 of 2009," Mudhaf said. 

    Al-Mudhaf said that "these payments will be in favor of Kuwait about 4.4 billion dollars and should be paid in the future." He added that "continuing the deposit in the Compensation Fund will bring everyone from the final completion of the Board of Directors and receive full compensation for Kuwait." 

    Iraq has been subjected to Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations imposed after the invasion of the regime of former President Saddam Hussein in Kuwait in August of the same year, and allowed the item to use force against Iraq as a threat to international security, in addition to freezing large amounts of financial assets In international banks to pay compensation to those affected by the invasion, including the State of Kuwait.

    KUWAIT CITY - Kuwait announced on Thursday that the debts owed by Saddam Hussein to Iraq had been paid in three installments this year.
