BAGHDAD / The General Company for Petrochemical Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced on Monday to reach the final stages of the rehabilitation program for the re-operation of the petrochemical plant in Basra after a stop for eight years by great efforts and exceptional by its cadres and field supervision of its administration.
The company's director general Khalid Kazem Naji said in a statement that "the company has prepared a time program for the rehabilitation of low-density and high density ethylene plants and its supporting units, including water transactions, boilers, service units, cooling towers, gas generator cooling system, air compressors and power generation units.
