Iraq's ambassador to Russia denies Putin's visit to Iraq

BAGHDAD / The Iraqi ambassador to Russia, Haidar Hadi, denied talks between Baghdad and Moscow over Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Iraq.
"Russian President Putin is welcome at any time to visit Baghdad, he is a friend of the Iraqi government and people," Hadi said in a tweet on his Twitter account.
He added: "Currently there are no discussions to set the agenda for the visit, in the event of such arrangements will certainly be announced in a timely manner."
