Federal: amendment of the law "Chambers of Commerce" did not prevent anyone from the election of the Governing Council

The Federal Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the Law amending the Federation of Chambers of Commerce Law No. 50 of 1989 does not prevent anyone from participating or running in the elections of the Board of Directors, nor does it contradict the Constitution.
"The Federal Supreme Court held its session under the chairmanship of Judge Medhat Al-Mahmoud, and the presence of all the members of the judges, and considered an appeal against the unconstitutionality of the first amendment to the Law of Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce No. 50 of 2002, And (12) of the original law No. (43) for the year 1989 ".
"The prosecutor went on to claim that the amendment violates and contradicts with the Constitution, and was issued under the former regime, and requested the decision to cancel the opportunity to allow participants in the elections of the Board of Directors of the Chambers of Commerce for all workers in the commercial sector and the nomination and election," noting that "the plaintiff Did not indicate the constitutional articles that intersect with the text of the first amendment contested unconstitutional specifically.
