    BAGHDAD 
    - The extraordinary meeting of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the ministerial level to prepare and prepare for the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit will be held in Iraq on Thursday. 
    "Iraq is presiding over the extraordinary meeting of the Economic and Social Council at the ministerial level to prepare and prepare for the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit at its fourth session, which will be held in Lebanon on January 20, under the chairmanship of Minister of Commerce Mohammed al-Ani," the ministry said in a statement. 
    The statement quoted Al Ani as saying during the meeting that "the two sides are required to give priority to Arab economic relations in their investment and trade aspects in a manner that leads to increasing the level of trade exchange and economic interdependence among the Arab countries."
    He added that "the meeting and the agenda includes important economic and social aspects including the Arab Charter for the development of the SME sector, as it is considered one of the most important tributaries of development." 
    Al-Ani explained that "the most important items for the curriculum of work in the family in the Arab region in the framework of the implementation of sustainable development for 2030 and child labor in the Arab region," noting that "international figures indicate the expansion of child labor in Arab countries, Legal to face this phenomenon. " 
    He added that "the Iraqi government has placed importance for investment and the role of the advancement of the Iraqi economy and its impact on the productive capacity of the country in its quest to create an investment climate that responds to the requirements of Arab and foreign investors and give attention to the private sector and give him a leading role in the Iraqi economy."
