Iraq receives the presidency of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League

Iraq recognizes the presidency of the 102nd Session of the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States.
"Minister Salman Jumaili, who heads the Iraqi delegation participating in the meeting of the Arab Economic and Social Council, which started its work in Cairo, took over the presidency of the new session, which was chaired by Sudan," the ministry's media office said in a press statement. "The topics and issues on the agenda of this session are very important, especially those related to the Greater Arab Free Trade Area and other related economic and social issues," he said.
Al-Jumaili said in his speech during the opening: "This meeting is particularly important given the world events, developments and successive crises at all regional and global levels, which reflect their direct and indirect effects on the Arab economic and social conditions, especially in relation to improving the investment climate. And to liberalize and promote opportunities for integration into the global economy. "
