Ports: Construction of 5 berths continues in Umm Qasr, North and South

The General Company for Ports announced on Wednesday the construction of five new berths (22-23-24-25-26) in [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/109588/%D8%A3%D9%85 %D9%82%D8%B5%D8%B1 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B4%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A %D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D9%88%D8%A8%D9%8A]the northern and southern[/url] ports of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/109588/%D8%A3%D9%85 %D9%82%D8%B5%D8%B1 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B4%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A %D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D9%88%D8%A8%D9%8A]Umm Qasr[/url] in Basra.
The director general of the company, Engineer Safa Abdul Hussein, said in a statement that "in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Transport Eng. Abdullah Luaibi was conducted an inspection tour of the ports of Umm Qasr North and South to follow the progress of work and to identify the main obstacles and overcome.
He called on engineering staff to "exert utmost efforts to promote these mega projects, which will improve the level of port work in the future, which contribute to raising the rate of production and imports."
He added that it was "discussed the overall work, the most important work of electronic management and make observations that will improve the work and continue at the pace of one upward."
