Foreign currency sales at Iraq's central bank rose to 210.66 million dollars on Tuesday, compared with sales of 201.05 million dollars on Monday, an increase of 9.61 million dollars.
"Foreign exchange sales rose to 210.66 million dollars against sales of 201.05 million dollars on Monday with an increase of 9.61 million dollars," the bank said in a statement received by Mawazine News. "The exchange rate reached 1190 dinars per USD, in the auction held with the participation of 32 banks, in addition to a single financial transfer company.
The statement added that "the sales executed today are the results of the auction on Wednesday," explaining that "the total sales totaled 237.75 million dollars."
He pointed out that "the volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to 209.86 million dollars, while the total cash sold at 800 thousand dollars," noting that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, The cash will be at the same price, according to the central statement.
