Arab-European summit in Cairo early next week

The Arab League and the European Union will hold a summit in Cairo next week to discuss migration, climate change, combating terrorism and regional issues, and cooperation between the EU and the Arab world.
A senior British government official said Prime Minister Theresa May would hold bilateral talks with EU leaders on the sidelines of the summit.
The official explained that these bilateral meetings are part of the continuation of the British Prime Minister dialogue with her European colleagues on the exit of Britain from the European Union, adding that "this is not a meeting of the European Council and not a place to take decisions of the Council of Europe."
