Trump: The Democratic Party is not filled with Jewish citizens
US President Donald Trump's comments on anti-Semitism within the Democratic Party have continued to escalate.
"The Democratic Party does not care about Jewish citizens in America in light of the rise of anti-Semitism within it," President Elizabeth Pipko said Tuesday.
The activist who cited Trump is referring to the Jexodus movement , which encourages Jewish voters to leave the Democratic Party.
Trump's tirade comes as US Rep. Rachida Tlib accused her party of Islamophobia of defending her colleague Elhan Omar, who has been criticized in recent weeks for anti-Semitic remarks.
Taleb, a Muslim of Palestinian origin, said in an interview with Showtime on Monday that Islamophobia within the Democratic Party, which belongs to the two women, is behind the leaders' condemnation of Omar's statements, in which she accused American Jews of loyalty to Israel.
