The Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshlands warned of the decline of agricultural and reclaimed land throughout the country as a result of random construction.
A member of the Committee MP Salam al-Shammari said in a statement that the large areas of agricultural land, especially within the cities and the parties are witnessing a clear decline as a result of the construction, which is dominated by some of the illegality and official leave, indicating that Iraq needs self-sufficiency in general agricultural crops, and that any shortage of land will negatively affect The state plan is to fully satisfy most of the crops.
He stressed the importance of the removal of construction and distribution of land from agricultural areas that need to be expanded and work to control any random building without legal permits.
