    The Iraqi National Congress Party warned on Thursday of the danger of high rates of poverty in some provinces to unprecedented levels.

    "The rise in poverty rates according to the official statistics of the Ministry of Planning to exceed 50% in some provinces is a serious indicator that requires serious dealing with practical procedures," said the leader of the party Mohammed al-Moussawi.

    "The preoccupation of the legislative and executive structure of the struggle of the spoils without paying attention to the increasing poverty and poor living conditions of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis is paving the way for serious social problems that do not stop at the extremes of terrorism, drug trafficking and organized crime."

    The leader of the Iraqi Congress Party that "rooting the problems and challenges, raises a lot of questions about the beneficiaries of the duration of this situation, which will have disastrous repercussions on the Iraqi reality in the near future."

    According to the latest statistics of the World Bank, 38.5 people and gross domestic product (GDP) is 197.7 billion dollars. The poverty rate according to the poverty line of 3.2 per day is 17.9 per cent, while the ratio is 5.5 times a day, to 57.3 dollars. Set by 22.5%. While the average age in Iraq is 69.6.
