    [rtl]Direction / Baghdad[/rtl]
[rtl]The poverty rate in Iraq is rising in a frightening and unprecedented manner, especially in the south since the American occupation in 2000 and the middle of the spread of systemic corruption and increase unemployment and the absence of effective government solutions to solve economic crises.[/rtl]
[rtl]Although the southern provinces have huge oil, economic and human resources, the developed cities may have competed in the region, but their population is considered the poorest of the Iraqis.[/rtl]
[rtl]The World Bank confirmed in its statistics that 30 percent of the population of Iraq are below the poverty line and that 50 percent of the poor children are in the provinces of Muthanna, Basra, Maysan and Diwaniyah, and the proportion of poor child out of every four children.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Poverty in Iraq is frightening[/rtl]
[rtl]- About 30% of Iraq's population is below the poverty line[/rtl]
[rtl]- About 50% of poor children in the South[/rtl]
[rtl]Muthanna, Basra, Diwaniyah and Maysan are the poorest[/rtl]

[rtl]And hardly pass a street from the streets of the far south so that a number of beggars of different age groups, young men, women and children, stop you in a remarkable and disturbing.[/rtl]
[rtl]The reasons for the high poverty rates in these provinces are attributed by specialists to the spread of corruption and quotas on the basis of which authorities are shared in local governments. In addition to[/rtl]
[rtl]Neglect of projects and high unemployment rates. Iraq, according to Transparency International, ranks as one hundred and sixty-eight in the global corruption index.[/rtl]
[rtl]The question remains whether Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi can rely on the Anti-Corruption Council to save public money and how many years it will take the process of fighting spoilers and taking the hand of those who steal billions to be put behind bars.[/rtl]
