The Sunni Endowment in Iraq issues a clarification on the call for excommunication and fighting in defense of Iran

The Sunni Waqf office in Iraq on Monday lied to a local website in a report that the head of the chamber, Abdullatif al-Humim, called on Sunnis to fight to defend Iran and attack the Americans.
"The news is false and disgraceful and absolutely aimed at disrupting the general political and security situation in Iraq, with the aim of hurting the moderate national figures who want peace and good for Iraq through false news and falsely attributed to it," the statement said.
"We recommend that the people of Anbar province and all Iraqis not be dragged behind these lies and petty rumors and avoid the slurs and insults that reflect the immoral and non-civilized way of showing deterioration and degeneration of the moral level of some users and followers of social communication."
