Baghdad impose heavy penalties on Arbil .. The salaries of employees at stake

[rtl]The Federal Budget Law of 2019 provides for the deduction of the amount of damage caused by the failure of the delivery of oil imports by Kurdistan to the National Oil Company (Somo).[/rtl]

[rtl]But the budget law did not provide for the salaries of employees of Kurdistan by the federal government if the Kurdistan government refused to commit to hand over imported oil imports through its territory.[/rtl]

[rtl]The employees of Kurdistan have received only two or three salaries since the beginning of this year, according to a member of the Finance Committee of Parliament Naji Redis, who pointed out that the imports of oil sales went out of place.[/rtl]

[rtl]In this regard, the parliament intends to take quick measures not exceeding a week against Kurdistan, because of the refusal of the latter to hand over oil imports to the federal government, according to a member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Naji Redis, which revealed that his committee to prepare a report to be presented to the presidency of parliament.[/rtl]

[rtl]The Federal Parliament will not demand from Kurdistan the sale of oil according to the price of the oil barrel specified in the budget of 2019, but it intends to demand payment of what is according to the high price of a barrel of oil in world markets to $ 68 per barrel, as well as taking the report of the company (Sumo) Submitted to parliament, which reveals that Kurdistan exported more than 500 thousand barrels of oil a day until May.[/rtl]

[rtl]In turn, prepared a member of the Finance Committee of the parliamentary Mohammed al-Daraji, a comparison between the number of employees of Kurdistan and residents of Muthanna province, saying that "Kurdistan receives salaries for employees more than the population of Muthanna province, and in fact that the amounts received by Kurdistan are not all salaries."[/rtl]

[rtl]The federal government pledged to pay the salaries of all Kurdish employees in 2019, including fighters of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces, which had been the subject of controversy for years between Baghdad and Erbil.[/rtl]

[rtl]Baghdad announced the first time to pay these salaries in the event of the failure of the Kurdistan or the export of its quota of 250 thousand barrels per day, through the company "Sumo".[/rtl]
