Despite the sanctions ... 12 Iranian carriers carrying oil to other countries

The New York Times reported that at least 12 Iranian tankers are still transporting Iranian oil to various parts of the world, despite Washington's efforts to cut oil exports to Tehran.
The newspaper said in a report published on Saturday that it has tracked the movements of more than 70 Iranian carriers since May 2, the date of the cancellation of Washington's exemptions granted to other countries for sanctions against the Iranian oil sector, revealing that 12 of those vessels transferred shipments of oil to China and the eastern Mediterranean.
The newspaper said that 11 of these vessels are owned or managed by the Iranian National Tanker Company listed on the US sanctions list, with the exception of the ship Devrez of Great Sparkle Investments registered in Hong Kong and also has an office in Mumbai, India.
The newspaper said that some tankers extinguished the system of identification after passing through the Suez Canal, and found that the destination located in the eastern Mediterranean.
Keller energy economist Reid Janson noted that at least three tankers have been carrying iron ore shipments from Iran to China since June, which is also a violation of US sanctions. There are also other Iranian oil carriers in the Gulf waiting for Buyer to go anywhere in the world.
The results of the investigation confirm that the real volume of Iranian oil exports significantly exceeds public opinion assessments, which is an indication of the difficulties faced by the administration of US President Donald Trump in the campaign of pressure led against Tehran. End 25 n
