The Alliance of Iraqi forces, on Friday, with a number of parliamentary blocs and political forces to take a decision to stop the entry into force Diwani order to appoint inspectors, stressing the initiation of the completion of legislation to abolish the offices of general inspectors.

The alliance said in a statement received, Alsumaria News, a copy, that "Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi issued [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] orders to appoint and create the offices of public inspectors, in a move that exceeded the powers of the House of Representatives and its oversight role, as well as the resulting increase in government functional sag."

The coalition, that "the Iraqi Council of Representatives had voted on March 9 last month on the form of a resolution in principle to abolish the offices of general inspectors, and there is a tendency to unify the supervisory bodies to reduce corruption and waste public money, and that the actions of the prime minister came to impose a will on the Council Deputies with the intention of curtailing his supervisory powers. "

"We stress the need for the government and its president to abide by the provisions of the Iraqi constitution in Article 61, as the supreme law over other laws, including those promulgated by the dissolved CPA before the 2005 constitution was enacted."

The coalition explained, "We will go with a number of parliamentary blocs and political forces to take a decision to stop the entry into force of the Diwaniyah inspectors general, and proceed to complete the legislation to abolish the offices of general inspectors, and re-adapt the dissolved Coalition Authority Order No. 57 of 2004, and the unification of government oversight departments under the management of the Office Financial Supervision".
