Nineveh Governor Mansour al-Maraeed warned on Tuesday of moves by some political figures and blocs in the province, returned to them an attempt to create chaos after the stability witnessed recently in the province.
Al-Maraeed said in a televised interview followed by (Mawazine News), that "there are a lot of blocs and political figures do not like the state of stability witnessed by the province at the current stage began to look for the creation of a state of political chaos to hinder the continuation of the efforts of the province in the areas of security and reconstruction in addition to file management Displaced people. "
He pointed out, "The approaching date of elections for the provincial councils is one of the reasons that pushed those blocs and personalities to confuse the political and administrative scene in the province, and invest that in achieving personal interests and narrow factional."
Al-Maraeed stressed that "the same figures who were talking about the existence of external wills working to interfere in the affairs of Nineveh, aiming to confiscate the province in their favor, and today they resort to the same figures that attacked them recently to achieve their interests no more at the expense of the interests of citizens."
He called on all parties to "resort to dialogue to address some of the observations I have made about the government performance before going out to the media to fuel the stable scene in Nineveh."
He stressed the need to continue the processes of progress and successes that took place in the cities of the province in various sectors after the sacrifices made by the Iraqis in order to liberate the cities of Nineveh from the clutches of terrorism.
The Governor pointed out that "he will not compromise on the achievements made on the ground now and will continue in the wealth of development that he started in order to get the province to the status befitting it."
