Government spokesman William Warda said Monday that former ministers, heads of independent bodies and governors were brought to justice.
Warda said he expected to "bring a number of former ministers and heads of independent bodies and governors to the judiciary and the issuance of verdicts against those found to be files of corruption."
He said: "The issue of combating corruption is crucial in pacifying the street, especially if the people who have been involved in it have been introduced significantly."
