On Thursday, the deputy from the Alliance of Fateh Fadel Jaber revealed the consultations conducted by Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, stressing that the Shiite blocs asked Allawi not to be drawn behind the pressures in choosing his ministers and leave him full freedom in selection.
Jaber said in a statement to the "information", that "the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi ended his consultations with the Shiite political blocs, as she reviewed his government program and made a number of observations for the purpose of evaluating it and succeeding in his next mission in exchange for giving him full support for his government."
He added that "all Shiite political blocs asked Allawi not to bow to any pressure from the rest of the political blocs or external pressure in the process of selecting ministers and leaving complete freedom in choosing ministers because he is the only one who will be held accountable for his performance and the performance of his next government."
