International: The Euphrates News As news of the emerging epidemic of Corona virus grows around the world, the world is increasingly concerned about the epidemic that has infected more than 600,000 people and claimed more than 30,000 lives.
Italy topped the list of countries with the most deaths recorded in the past 24 hours with 889 cases, followed by Spain with 832 cases, and then the United States with 453 cases.
In Italy, which recorded the first death from the virus in late February, the number of deaths reached 10023 cases and 92472 injuries, while 12,384 people were cured.
Similar to Italy, Spain surpassed China in the death toll of 5,690 cases on Spanish soil, and injuries amounted to 72,248.
In mainland China (i.e. without Hong Kong and Macao) where the first virus infection was discovered in late December, the number of infections was 81,394 (done 54 new infections and three deaths were recorded as of Friday), while the death toll reached 3295 cases, while 74,971 people recovered from the virus.
In Iran, the death toll reached 2517 cases and 35408 injuries, while in France the death toll reached 2314 cases and 37575 injuries.
The United States tops the list of countries with the highest number of confirmed cases of Covid-19, with 115,547 injuries, while the death toll on its territories reached 891 cases.
