The Parliamentary Communications Committee presented, on Sunday, a proposal to eliminate corruption in institutions.
According to government media, Committee member Hoda Sajjad said, "Improving the level of information technology and the development of the digital economy will reduce the spread of corruption in institutions."
Sajjad stressed, "The development of the telecommunications sector would combat corruption in border crossings, as well as provide an opportunity for the citizen to know the prices that are contracted."
She added, "The enhancement of the infrastructure of the telecommunications sector will enable companies to provide better services at lower prices,"
